Meet Our Rescue Ponies

Blacky
Blacky is a 29-year-old Miniature Horse gelding whom arrived at the rescue in February 2008. He is 9 hands (36”) short and has a spunky attitude. He was formerly used as a birthday party pony and a backyard pleasure horse. He was surrendered to us after his owners were no longer able to care for him. Blacky is our proud mascot and will remain with us forever.
Jasmine
Jasmine is a Shetland pony arriving here on November 9th 2006. She stands 11H and is 23 years old. Jasmine is completely blind in one eye and has a cataract in the other. She is now retired here for the remainder of her days. She is and will continue to be loved by everyone who comes in contact with her.
Becky
Becky is a 13-year-old Shetland pony mare who arrived with an Appaloosa mare in February, 2008 after she was surrendered by her owners. Though otherwise healthy, she has foundered in her past. She is 11.1 hands tall and absolutely loves to be loved and ridden by children. Becky will remain a member of the All Breed Horse Rez-Q for the remainder of her life and will continue to give pony rides until she is retired.
Brandi
Brandi came to us on November 2010. She is 4 years old and stands 11.1H. She was in a summer camp program for kids and ponies and is now residing with us here at the rescue. This little mare was donated to us so we could use her in our pony rides program. She has some insecurities that she is overcoming with all the love and attention she is receiving from the volunteers and visitors that come here. Brandi will remain with us for many years to come.
